Become Fighter
Terms of use
These terms cover your use of the Become Fighter app. "We" and "us" mean Become Fighter. By using the app you agree to them.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play terms apply alongside these. Where they conflict on your licence to use the app, the store's terms win.
Train safely
Boxing and MMA training is physically demanding and carries a risk of injury.
- Check with a doctor before you start if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, an injury, are pregnant, or have any other health concern.
- Warm up, train within your limits and stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- Train in a clear space, away from people, furniture and anything you could hit.
- The sparring partner in the app is a simulation for solo practice. Don't spar with another person unless a qualified coach is supervising.
The app gives general training guidance. It is not medical advice and doesn't replace a qualified coach.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial training. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, or use it in any way that breaks the law.
Become Fighter Pro
Some features need a Pro subscription. The features included and the current price are shown in the app before you buy.
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is taken by Apple or Google when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If you're offered a free trial and you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, you won't be charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays open until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We can't issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
- If we change the price, the store will tell you in advance and, where the law requires, ask you to agree before the new price applies.
Content
The app, its lessons, text, artwork and sounds belong to us or our licensors. Lesson videos from YouTube belong to their creators and are shown under YouTube's terms. We may update, add or remove lessons and features over time.
Your data
Your training data is stored only on your phone. See the privacy policy for details. Because we don't hold a copy, we can't restore it if you uninstall the app or lose your phone.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or always available.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from how you train, or for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under the law. If you're a consumer, these terms don't affect your statutory rights.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll show it in the app or on this page before it takes effect. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you can also rely on the consumer protection law where you live and bring a claim in your local courts.
